Uwe is an Austrian entrepreneur and a passionate advocate of the location-independent lifestyle, dedicated to building vibrant, growth-minded communities. As the founder of MyStartBulgaria.com, Uwe assists individuals in establishing a new base in Bulgaria, offering comprehensive services in residency, company formation, and tax optimization.
Uwe is also an avid sailor, with a deep connection to the sea that complements his adventurous spirit. As the founder of Nomad Sailing Retreat, he organises sailing adventures that encourage participants to step out of their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and reconnect with nature.

This episode is dedicated to Global Security and Law Enforcement. Joining us today is Manuel Amarilla, a global security advisor who will share his 30 years of experience of working in police, military, Interpol and United Nations.
Manuel completed more than 40 field missions and market surveys with cross-country records in Americas, Africa, Middle East, Asia, Oceania and Europe.
He is a ground operational specialist in diplomatic, corporate and travel security, crisis management, strategic-planning, and implementation of critical programs at high-risk theatres of operations.
Together with Manuel, we discussed the importance of cross-cultural communication in the global security, psychological safety in the missions and how it impacts mental health and suicide rates.
We also dived into the power play and privilege in law enforcement and the danger of imposing Western values where they are not understood nor needed. And finally, we analysed what happens when law enforcement officials forget their primary mission of protecting the rights and freedom of ordinary citizens and them being the servants of the society rather than power play for governments.

Joining us today is someone I´ve followed and admired from afar for quite some time: Aidy Smith. So you can only imagine how excited I got when Aidy very quickly agreed to participate in this episode despite his very busy schedule and high profile. Aidy Smith is most known as the host of the show 'The Three Drinkers'. He is a wine and spirits presenter with a key focus on the modern drinker. As the wine and spirits columnist for The Independent and official Brand Ambassador for Vivino, Adrian has spent his career developing a fun and curiosity-peaking mind-set to drinks.
He is also the founder of Drinklusive, which is the drinks industry's first Inclusivity Mentorship aimed at increasing the representation of drinks personalities from all diverse communities.
